I don’t really have much to say about this now because I don’t have much time. I will give a quick mention to a couple specific pieces of gear being used.
Henry Shire’s Tarp Tent - This thing is awesome so far even though I haven’t slept under it. Sewing it was an amazing experience and right when I was about to give up after seriously fucking it up George helped me get through it.
I got a free Backpack and Sleeping bag from www.FoxRewards.com. Although you won’t be able to get anything from this site working at the Athena for 4 years got me something good.
Big props to Brunton (www.brunton.com) for providing me with a wicked sweet solar charger for my consumer electronics… yes I am a geek.
